David Carradine found dead in a Bangkok hotel room

A Veteran actor David Carradine has been found dead last thursday in a Bangkok hotel room.
The 72-year-old actor appeared to have hanged himself in a suite at the luxury Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel, said Lt. Teerapop Luanseng, the officer responsible for investigating the death. He was in Thailand filming his latest film Stretch, according to his personal manager Chuck Binder. He had several other projects lined up after the action film, which was being directed by Charles De Meaux with Carradine in the lead.

"I can confirm that we found his body, naked, hanging in the closet," Teerapop said. He said police were investigating and suspected suicide, though one of his managers questioned that theory.

"All we can say is, we know David would never have committed suicide," said Tiffany Smith, of Binder & Associates, his management company. "We're just waiting for them to finish the investigation and find out what really happened. He really appreciated everything life has to give ... and that's not something David would ever do to himself."

Mr Binder said the news was "shocking", adding: "He was full of life, always wanting to work... a great person."

Carradine was best known for his role in the 1970s TV series Kung Fu and confirmed his icon status when he played villain Bill in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies.

Susan Boyle Collapse

Susan Boyle, who became a global star when a clip of her singing was viewed 100 million times on YouTube, has been rushed to a health clinic suffering from exhaustion, reports said Monday.

A 48-year-old spinster -- whose rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical Les Miserables brought her worldwide acclaim -- was taken to the Priory clinic in London on Sunday.

On Saturday night, Boyle came second in the "Britain's Got Talent" television competition that made her famous, despite being the favorite.

In the days leading up to the final, media reports suggested she was having trouble coping with the weight of expectations on her.
"Following Saturday night's show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained," talkbackThames said in a statement.

"She has been seen by her private GP (doctor) who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery. We offer her our ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery."

Boyle had been under huge pressure to win "Britain's Got Talent" on Saturday after her audition piece became a major hit on video-sharing website YouTube. However, after a public vote she lost out to a street dancing troupe.
